Sundays at Grace
Sunday 8 a.m. (In the Church)
Our 8 a.m. service is a quite spoken Mass, with a sermon, using traditional language (Rite I) from the Book of Common Prayer. It lasts about 45 minutes. This liturgy is followed by coffee hour (an informal reception) in the Parlor in the Parish House.
Sunday 9 a.m. (In the Parish House)
Coffee is available on the first floor of the Parish House.
From September through early June there is Christian Formation for all ages on the second floor of the Parish House. Our Sunday School program for children and youth is open to children ages 3 and up. The classes for adults cover a variety of topics about our faith and are designed to be accessible for anyone dropping in.
Sunday 10 a.m. (In the Church)
Our 10 a.m. liturgy is a joyful celebration of the Eucharist, with a sermon, with congregational hymns and music led by our choir. The liturgy uses more contemporary language and lasts a little over an hour.
Sunday 5 p.m. (In the Church)
Occasionally Grace offers special liturgies on Sunday evenings. Throughout the year our Choir and Choristers lead us in the service of Evensong (Sung Evening Prayer) as well as liturgies to mark special days or seasons such the Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed and Lessons and Carols. These services take place as announced.
